Frequently Asked Questions

How Much Does it Cost?
The prices quoted on our website include all delivery and packaging charges* -The price you see is the price you pay.

You usually pay less per litre (or pint to those of us still working in imperial measurements!) if you buy larger quantities, as carriers sometimes charge the same amount per parcel up to a maximum weight limit, so don't forget to compare the cost of buying larger volumes.

For example, 20 Litres of Dry Cider costs as little as £1.71 per pint delivered!

Is the basket in the photograph included?
No, you are buying the bottles only and they will come in a cardboard box. (A very nice, recycled one though!) We were just trying to make the bottles look prettier.

How Does it Get to me?
We will send your order, carefully packaged by carrier. (Usually DHL) Click HERE to see an example of our packaging. We will endeavour to despatch within 2 days so you should receive your order within 3 - 5 working days, although it is usually much quicker. We email you a consignment number to enable you to track your order online via our carrier's website.

Will you deliver outside of the United Kingdom?
The prices quoted on the website include all delivery charges to mainland Britain addresses. *Some delivery regions will incur a surcharge. i.e. Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man etc. This will be requested subsequent to the order being placed. However, we now regularly send orders overseas, including Holland, Canada, USA, Germany, Poland and Finland. We have even taken orders from Australia and Japan, so please email us (overseas@CiderOnline.net) with your enquiry.

Can I pay by Credit or Debit Card?
We have set up the website to make it as simple as possible for our customers to pay with a Credit or Debit card. We use PayPal for all our Credit & Debit Card payments to ensure maximum security during your transaction. When redirected to PayPal you do not need a PayPal account to pay - any valid Debit / Credit card can be used. If you have a PayPal account then you can of course use your PayPal account to pay using your PayPal funds if you wish.

Can I pay by cheque?
If you would prefer to pay by cheque please tick the box marked 'Cheque' under 'Payment Options' when ordering. Please remember that we will not despatch any goods until your cheque has cleared, so your order will take longer to be delivered.

What's so special about Ross-on-Wye Cider & Perry then?
Well, Cider has been made at Broome Farm by the Johnson family for over 70 years. There are now over 60 varieties of cider apples grown on the farm, allowing them to create individual blends of quality cider.

The Cider is a whole juice product, fermented with natural yeasts so it's probably as good for you as drinking alcohol can get!

The alcohol content can be up to 7.4% so it's pretty strong stuff as well.

Oh, and they've won lots of awards. A small selection is shown below.
